Quinn Cabinets and Custom Cabinetry.

"Small" Quinn Cab:
The Small Quinn Cab is a hybrid design based on a Fender combo cabinet with a HAD style rear ported rear panel.
It's Construction is half blind dovetail jointed 3/4" #2 or better Pine sides, top and bottom.
3/4" voidless Baltic Birch speaker baffle.
The Baltic baffling makes sure to get the most from any speaker you load into it. Much
less transfer loss then thinner baffles made of lesser wood can offer.
The pine adds some real wood tone and brings more of a vintage vibe.
Rear panel is also 3/4" Baltic Birch. The oval port hole is based on Dumble cabinets.
The rear port is designed to help alignment of the phase of the vibrations coming from the rear of
the speaker cone, with the vibrations coming from the front. The result is less phase loss
which equates to less volume lost and a fullness to the notes that simple open backed cabs can't approach.
Dimensions are approx. 24" wide x 17" tall x 11.5" depth at the base, 10.5" at the top of the cab.
Weight approx. 26Lbs loaded.
There is a slight back angle to the face of the cabs that may not visible in the pics.
It is engineered and built like a speaker cabinet should be. Full sounding, no standing waves, no funky freqs.
Solid construction. No screws or dados or other flimsy and fast construction methods ever used.
They will hold my weight (145lbs) with one corner edge to the ground and me
balancing on the opposite corner edge and not even flinch!!
